The Clean Skin Quest!

I've always had a problem with acne. I've used many kinds of medicine for it and not much really ever works. I'm 24 right now, and it is still a problem! However, I've started using a Mary Kay routine. It works better than most products that I've tried, and I decided to take pictures this time around to see the results. Please ignore how badly everything looks. There's no make up or anything on. It's just me... which could be interesting!

So here's my before pictures...

Feeling Pretty!

I felt pretty this morning while getting ready for work. I'm not sure if it was the new make up or the fact that my hair is finally getting longer, but I love it. So I decided to take a few pictures. I know I've gained some weight, but I'm starting a fabulous new lifestyle today to remedy that. I think it also has to do with the fact that my acne is starting to improve. I've been using a new product for three weeks now, and my face is much much clearer. I've been taking before, midway, and in a week, after pictures. Anyways, I'm just happy that I can still think positively about myself regardless of what others may say. :)

Starting a business!

Yes, indeed. I am working on getting a card business up and going. I have a partner whom I met at work, and we are using every spare second we have to get busy on this project. Please take the time to go and look at our blog kriketkreation.blogspot.com I apologize in advance that it isn't anything exciting yet. We've only been at this for about a week and a half now. Please, spread the word.

Rail Roads

I have always been fascinated with trains and railroads. If I had loads of spare time, I'd love to get a license to drive one and do that as a job for a while. It sounds rather fun and absolutely beautiful. Well, the military base I work on has loads of rail road tracks on it. Most of them are run down and a little ragged looking, but I found one that looks beautiful. So here's a few amazing pictures to enjoy!

A story!

I have many small yet large at the same time projects in my life. One of them is to write a book full of little stories I've done throughout my life and that I've observed with others. Some of them take a page or two while some of them are only a paragraph long. So here's a little paragraph story. Perhaps you'll be able to enjoy it and find someone like this!

I am very easily distracted. Children take advantage of it quite often and have me help them. It's easy to get my attention for help. On part of my route, I had some children who noticed how easily distracted I was. Every morning we'd be talking up a storm, and I would constantly interrupt them. I'd always yell out, “Look at the clouds!” or “Look at the sunrise!” They'd get distracted too and would ooohh and ahhh with me. One day, little Katie had had enough. She asked me, “Miss Kriket, do you know what ADHD is?” “Yes,” I answered. “ADHD is attention-defeceit hyperactive disorder.” “That's right,” she responded. “Do you know what ADOS is?” I thought for a minute or two and said, “No, I don't believe I've heard of that one.” She continued, “ADOS is attention-defeceit oh shiny!!!” As she said 'oh shiny' her head jerked to another placed and she faked ignoring me. I laughed so hard. I laughed even harder when she followed up with, “You most definitely have ADOS, Miss Kriket.” I couldn't fight her. I knew it was true.

If you remember any stories, feel free to remind me of them and help motivate me to write a few more. :)
